Hello!

Laurie2281-4x6I’m Laurie Kelly, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, RRCA Certified Running Coach, ITCA Certified Triathon Coach, and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Coach. My mission is to help you discover what truly motivates and encourages you to want to get and stay healthy. I strive to inspire you with a passion for fitness, so exercise becomes a joy – not just one more chore on an endless To-Do List.  Your success is my success!

If you’re in my area, I come to you ~ at your home or office fitness center, or at a public park where we work outdoors ~ on your schedule. Alternatively, I also provide personalized online training/coaching customized to meet your goals.

I also know that setting and achieving a goal to complete an endurance event, such as a triathlon or running event (5k to marathon) can be a life-changing experience that leads to an ongoing commitment to a healthy way of life. This is why I love working with individuals of all ages and fitness levels who have never completed an endurance event or who may have completed one or more of these events and desire to improve. I specialize in the Sprint and Olympic triathlon/duathlon distance events, which are challenging yet very achievable for those of us who have things to do besides train (!)

Tri4Cure best bike picI spent the first 35 years of my career in the corporate world – as a CPA, then financial accounting for several large life insurance companies in the Denver area. Then I entered the banking industry, where I developed and managed the anti-money laundering and anti-fraud programs for a $130 billion bank. Throughout my 15 years as a competitive triathlete, I had some wonderfully rewarding opportunities to share with others just how empowering sport and fitness can be. So after “retiring” from the corporate world, I chose to do work that actively contributes to the well-being of others, through sharing a passion for fitness and healthy living practices.

I understand your challenges in work/life balance, dealing with stress, managing time effectively and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, because I’ve faced them all myself. I also recognize how intimidating it feels to get started on a path to fitness. In today’s world we’re bombarded with information about this or that workout, diet, or fitness fad that promises quick and easy results. My goal is to help you tune out all the noise, and focus in on what is right for ~you~.

Will it be easy? No – it takes hard work and commitment to achieve lasting and worthwhile results in any endeavor. I will never promise you will lose 25 lbs in a month, run a sub-3 hour marathon after just four weeks of training, or any other tantalizing yet unrealistic goal you see promised on the covers of magazines in the supermarket checkout line.

What I will promise you is a uniquely customized, scientifically-based program, designed to get you safely to your fitness goal in a realistic timeframe. I’ll educate, guide, and encourage you to achieve your goal, and make it stick for the long term.
